THIS SOLID ENGLISH YEW SOLID WOOD CLOCK AND BAROMETER HAS BEEN HANDCRAFTED in THE UK
A large cut of solid English Yew cut with the grain and felled from the Hampshire Downs
it has been finished to preserve it's natural beauty by a hard wearing varnish,
the natural colours show up wonderfully.
The clock measures 33 " inches or 84 cms LENGHT and 11" inches or 28cms in across
Breathtaking wall clock unusual and in its own natural beauty.
Our wood is from the South Downs and after at least eight years of natural seasoning it is
taken for hand-crafting in our Hampshire workshop‘s.
Applying the finish is a delicate, difficult and extremely
skilful process culminating in the careful application of a special highly refined resin,
so that the crystal clear unblemished surface properly reflects the gorgeous colours and intricate patterns within the grain.
The outcome is this uniquely beautiful clock.
This is a real conversation piece and would make a lovely anniversary, wedding, retirement present.
